Yeah....MISTress1200 needs a redesign on the location of the DE-10 Nano and the location of connectors to the board. It is possible. Option right now is to mount your own DE-10 Nano with appropriate expansions in a location of your choice, and feed the extension cables to the ports of a shield with some re-enforcements. Just a bit more hands-on to do and less clean, so perhaps not for a clear-case setup. I bought all the stuff for this, including USB to Serial and USB to Parallel adapters - for more authentic Amiga look. Just never did it. Perhaps it's time? Yes...for a MISTer setup, I'd go that far. And by the way, others have already done this journey, because it is worth it.

Just consider how goo-goo people are over the "new C64" ...as if FPGA is a new exciting retro thing. ...as if MISTer has not been around since pre-pandemic.

By the way, custom Amiga chips in FPGA are already here, and due to shortage of actual chips the only option going forward to recreate these chips will be in smaller logic cell count FPGA chips, so for quite some time already it has been clear that FPGA is the future of Amiga. Be an early adapter with MISTer. :-)
