Hi all, I only purchased this about 3-4 weeks ago and have been enjoying it very much. However, household expenses forces the sale of my multi-region MultiMega.

It will come with the machine, official PSU, 1x kidney shaped 6 button controller, RGB Scart Cable, Sonic The Hedgehog Cartridge game, Prince of Persia Japanese Mega CD game, Sega Arcade Classics Pal UK Mega CD Game (Disc Only) & Cobra Command Pal UK Mega CD Game (Disc Only).

This machine has a custom bios chip installed which when holding down the reset button switches the 50/60hz, language and CD bios automatically.

Green is Pal 50hz Euro Bios

Orange is NTSC 60hz US Bios

Red is NTSC 60hz Jap Bios

The previous owner has also filed the cartridge slot so that Japanese cartridges can fit.

It works perfectly and is a very nice system. I am disappointed to be having to sell it on but needs must.

I am asking £180 (was £200) plus p&p

I'm curious. Does the switching by reset mean you can't pop in a locked PAL game and switch it to 60hz after boot?

Wonderful machine. Wish I could afford it

Hi slk, of course like all the switchless mods if you tap the reset it resets the console as normal. Holding the button for 1-2 seconds just switches the 50/60hz and holding for 5 or more seconds switches between regions.

Ok, so it doesn't reset the machine when you're holding it down to switch between 50/60hz?

Just to make sure I've just given it a test, the led flashes a couple of times and it switches to 60hz but doesn't reset.

That is awesome! Sorry to clutter up your thread

Not to worry its information a possible buyer might've wanted to know too

Just a quick side note, I have pm'd Jamma who showed interest in both my machines in the master system thread with an offer for both machines. I will update the thread once I've had a reply.

Reply received and Jamma has declined the offer. Still for sale

scrappysphinx, I am interested in this wonderful machine.

Any chance I could know the rough cost to get this to Surrey? It would need to be sent using a not so rough courier service I assume?

I have sent a PM asking a quick question too. :D

Payment received from Man1ac for the Multimega.

I also offered him the chance to buy my Mega Everdrive for £75 plus p&p which he will make payment for on Friday.

Thanks Colin and enjoy the machine :)

cant believe I have miss out of this wonderful Machine :picard

I am sure it will happen again next time when I see one:lol::roll:

always wanted one of these, best looking md out there :-) enjoy the machine and the everdrive :-)

also randomly would a 32x work on one of these?

Hi bobpard, the official line from sega is that it's not compatible (apparently they never made the bracket to hold it steady in time) but despite the fact it's a little wobbly it does indeed work just fine if not moved.
