Never used these specifically, but accuracy on clone consoles tends to be up-and-down. My NES+SNES combo is pretty solid and only shows occasional glitching on certain games, but I had a Yobo Famiclone that had the pulse width on the two pulse channels 180° out of phase, so it was a square when it was supposed to be thin and vice-versa - completely ridiculous! Moral of the story: make sure to look up some third-party reviews/demos before dropping money on these kinds of products.

Tempted to get one of these for Computer Club.

Tonight 4 systems
MegaDrive, SNES, NES and famicom

Easiest gaming night set up ever

I had a duo one a while back - played snes and nes. Nice machine, but the controllers were awful. They also tend to be a bit over-priced for what they are.

Hmm i wonder whether everdrives would work with it?

Judging by the company announcement halfway down the page about the grey area of roms legality issues, i would think not?

Go for that full on boot leg feeling

as most of these are based on emulation you might as well get an xbox softmod it and use it for just the systems you want. You can mod the real pads to work with the xbox quite easy and no cost or risk if u pick up a really crud game.

I liked the idea of the 7800 slot, shame they don't seem to be doing it. I don't see why they wouldn't work with an Everdrive though.

These device are fine if your going o stick to NTSC/J-NTSC games. Pal games, so far as nes are conserned, can encounter glitches and timing issues.

There are only a handfull of pal optimized games, and they were made in europe, so that won't be an issue for most :)

There are some Japanese made "optimised" PAL NES games; typically shoddily sped up, sometimes just the music. I have an American toaster NES but I can't blindly buy PAL NES games for it because as I learned the hard way, chances are the music will be crazy and in completely the wrong pitch.

I like it

I like the look of this. Hope to get one if the price isn't to high.
