WOW Adrian! This is one AWESOME A600 you have made here! The faceplate with connectors is a really smart idea too..... and you fit a Delfina... in an A600?! :wooha:

Its really cool that you can direct DF0 externally with the ACA, and also, if you ever decide to, you could also make an external HxC solution too (and eliminate the bad floppy disk problems).

Fantastic work though mate :)

That means a great deal given the scale and magnitude of your projects - thank you very much

I am really pleased with it - Jens made it possible in the finer detail (as well as the obvious things..) by giving the ACA such wonderful thoughtful options like moving DF0 to external and putting a second clock port on the A604:bowdown:

It is really weird, I wanted to build a mega A600 over the past two years while collecting bits, every hurdle to my plan someone created a neat solution before it stopped me. Sep 2010 I wanted an 030 for my A600, the ACA 630 turns up in December 2010 - I believe the last A600 accelerator was likely produced 1997 before that :wooha:. I need a way of powering it and I don't fancy a modded PC PSU, some talented soul on EAB produces the A-Power. I read about the ingenuity of the Delfina clock port sound card, they start producing them again but a physically smaller version... I want one but don't think it will work with a A1200 clock port hub on a A603, then the A604 turns up with two clock ports and one specifically labelled as Delfina?!?!? I think, wow, wouldn't 256 be cool - then a few days ago I read about the possibility on a thread using the Indivision ECS. I read about the Graffiti and think what a neat idea - I then learn this is built into Indivision ECS and it goes on..! I think I have been incredibly lucky to rediscover my A600 and Amibay at just the right moment.:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

What a ride! - thanks again for the very kind words from a 1st class Amiga modder!

Adrian

Ps - Don't - I was already thinking hmmmm I've got a spare floppy port and power connection - goodness I'm hooked lol. Although for the power connection I fancy fitting one of Jens PureIDE solutions, not that I need the space, but just because 'enough is never enough' in the spirit of this project :thumbsup: (As a kid I always had drummed into me the virtues of being sensible and pragmatic which is true to an extent - I guess this is a mini rebellion!)
