i cant remember what the card was,all i remember it was a dual cpu jobby.
i think it was off a mac.(i only found it in the search using the part number for the cpu)
it was over six months ago,i'll try to find the other one i packed away after the re-ball.i binned the card pcb.
all i remember now is how cheap they where

Steve with grex 4000 you can have morphos running 
And made a quake time demo there because mediator and radeon it dont work

yes i know they are cheep ... but are hard to find!

Tested on another motherboard with buster 11 and recapped with my CSPPC, behaviour is the same as with the csmkiii :-(

and do you check the video board if it have problems?
It's put to one side for now, I tested two different Voodoo 3 both working in other systems.
Tested 3 different A4000 Motherboard and CSMkIII and CSPPC both successfully flashed with GREX version of firmware.
I'm 99% sure the issue is with the Logic board and/or connector.
I have sent a BPPC to Stachu for upgrade, I will ask him about GREX.

I have to heat-up (no mistake here - to increase temperature) of one Cypress IC to get my G-REX 4000 working:

I'm using simple circuit equipped with temperature sensor + heater (5W ceramic resistor) to keep bigger Cypress temperature at certain level.
What is strange that I have to cool down second Cypress at the same time...
Strange, I know.
So please try to heat-up bigger Cypress by hotair gun (or hair dryer) BEFORE power-on.
It should be about 50-60 Celsius degrees.
If still no boot - it can happen that you have bad solder somewhere, or in worst case - next expensive (albeit rare) paperweight.

The real limitation of CSPPC (and I belive CS MKIII too) are CPLD IC's and quite complex logic between CPU bus and RAM. 604e@350MHz can work with 100MHz FSB, but it's too much for CSPPC. That is why FSB on CSPPC on PPC side is 60MHz or 66MHz.

Just come 2x 256 mb of zoram... but i have a "defective in my kickstart" early boot .... I have to do something for make this works on mediator?
