Hi, I just got my first A4000 040 the other day and have been getting it ready to share with everyone :) The first thing I want to do is to thank the previous owner from Germany in doing a great job with the packaging in making sure it arrived safely here in Scotland and also thanks for providing help with supplying me with a great multisync monitor which should be on its way soon. :) The Amiga is fully loaded with expantion cards and 3 HD's full loaded with software and all the original disks. There is a lot to keep me occupied with hours of fun for a long time, just getting to grips with it all and a lot of stuff that I have no previous experience with, but that's what appealed to me (never to late to learn) when I saw it forsale. One of the coolest things I've come across is Siamese Amiga to Pc. So one of the first things which I'm in the process of doing is getting together a ISA motherboad computer set-up, with a little help from a friend in sourcing the parts :) this should be up and running soon.

WOW!!! Thats awesome mate

Great A4000 there and thanks for sharing the pics

Have fun with it :)

Great pics mate and congrats on the new 4000

Get that battery snipped out ASAP though, and neutralise the area around it with lemon juice, then wash away with IPA. Leaving it will eventually kill your A4000 :o

Very nice mate. Congratz on your new system! I hope you have great fun with it \o/

wow

Very nice, one day My a4000 will be rock & roll 2 or I`ll just keep ribbiting at it, which ever happens first

Hi, I just got my first A4000 040 the other day and have been getting it ready to share with everyone :)

I restrained myself from bidding on that very computer. :P After reading your post, I wish I didn't :thumbsup:

That's a pretty good A4000 you got there by the look of it. I can assure you that you will have a lot of fun with it as the A4000 is not a bad beast.

I can remember when I bought my first A4000 in 1999. I had an A600 at the time and the step up in terms of speed was amazing. I still have that A4000 (it's the one in the sig below), and it's still a joy to use.

She is a beauty, congratulations!
I couldn't persuade my wife on bidding on this one, since we do not have a lot of space, plus she's white and cannot be hidden anywhere...

Hi Thanks Everyone :)

As for the wife radar I got it in OK but keeping it hidden would be a different story. So I set it all up then said Surprise :D "How was your day at work, I'll make a nice cup o tea" :censored: 20 min later All Great

I got the battery out and the board is looking great :)
