i never tried whdload games so i can't say but lots of adf games run fine. i suppose the slow down on whdload is the low ram on the minimig.

That could be the case although copying folders from one partition to the next is also quite slow compared to doing it on a real Amiga. I have learned that it is much faster to set it up properly while using WinUAE but that's something I will do as I go along setting up the games and things I want to use.

All in all it is a fantastic upgrade having the hard drive option and I am over the moon that I read anagrama's for sale thread that linked to here, which in turn started the hunt for the updated core and bin file
