Hi everybody,

I'm new on Amibay, just because I didn't know the site before.

I'm an amiga fan since 1989, after several years of coding on Amstrad CPC (my old pseudo glad) for different french magazines (Microboy, CPC Infos...).

In fact, I'm not only fan of Amiga but of Commodore, Amstrad and Atari too!

I live in the north of France and work for a big metalurgic international company, spending my time coding industrial applications on AIX systems.

I've got a big collection of Amstrad computers (the entire CPC/CPC+ collection except 464+), Amiga classics (500,600, 1000, 1200, 2000, 3000, 4000, 4000T, CD32).

Now, I work for the french site "Obligement" and do some translations (english or german texts).:readit:

Welcome! I just joined a few days ago myself. I guess they were right about several new members as I think 8 or 10 new people (well, new to the board) have posted in the last few days.

Glad to see so many people interested in such a great bunch of machines.

Welcome to the site. Woody will be pleased at the arrival of another CPC fan. :)

Bonsoir et bienvenue a AmiBay, bouvelle2000!

I am not a fan of Amstrad CPC but I am sure you'll find lot's of soul minded people onhere..

Have fun

Welcome!

That's quite an Amiga collection you have there!

Don't own an Amstrad CPC...yet!

@bouvelle2000

.... lets not forget howmany CPC's you have my friend ;) (you secret amstrad fanboi)

Welcome.

I'm a CPC fan too. My first home computer was the CPC464 with colour monitor. Great little machine.

Welcome!
Another fan of CPC and other 8 bit machines.
Do you have the schneider models, and the GX console?

Hi again,

Thank you for your welcome!

I effectivelly own one Schneider CPC 464 (monochrome screen). In fact, this was my first Amstrad, after my father's ZX81. This machine (464) helped me to learn coding (first basic and then the famous Z80). At this time, I had a very very very good teacher, Gozeur who has written some wonderful demos (See http://cpcrulez.fr/Scene_Demos8x/index.php?)

I do own some GX4000 and will probably sell one or two, some CPC6128 (with little classical disk drive problem), one CPC 664 (very rare).

I have other machines like a rare Formula One (:shhh:), C64, C128, C128D, two CBM Pets (2001), one working SX64, and a not working A4000T from Amiga Technogies (:help:)...

Note: sorry for my bad english. I'm better in translating than in writting english.

Hello,

Thank you for your welcome, it's a pleasure!

I have a schneider CPC 464 (with monochrome monitor), which was my first computer, and on which I've learnt Basic and Z80 with the help of a well known member of the CPC scene, Gozeur (do you know the "plasma demo" for instance?)

I also have many GX4000 (and will probably sell some of them on Amibay) and other rare machines like 2 CBM Pet 2001, a Formula One, and a working SX64

Now, I mainly use my collection of Amiga (:bounceBoingBall:), trying to keep them alive!
