Closed NCR 53CF94 (SCSI Controller IC)

Hello my friends,

This is a strange request but I do hope you can help =)


I am looking for the NCR 53CF94 Fast SCSI II controller chip so I can upgrade a piece of equipment at home.

(this particular card infact) - DCE Tiafun

(stock image, thanks to amiga.resource.cx)

The NCR 53CF94 is an 84 pin PLCC based IC and is found on a few Amiga, Atari and older PC card adapters. I have approached a couple of companies in China, but sadly I have not received any thing back from them.

So my hope is, that some were - out there - in AmiBay land, there might be someone - whom has one of these chips =)

i found something in the usa,but postage is a bit steep unless you can get some us freinds to get them.

this was the link i sent to zetro,the other link i sent him was a scsi card a bit cheaper and simply desolder the part but i cant find that one.

you could get it cheaper if you look for a card with that controller.

I have made many notes and with some time in the near future I will attempt to create a bootable SCSI controller!
