I used to have one of these and used it for file storage for a BBS. That was back when the capacity of CDs were massive compared to HDDs so having one of these drives was a lot cheaper than the same capacity HDD space. It ran flawlessly for several years until the BBS was shut down. Unfortunately the drive is long lost.. :/
