So I have been hunting the bits and bobs I need to put a really nice tower together for the last few months and since the beginning of the month through various lucky finds I have got everything I needed.
Made a start putting it all together today and whilst I was at it I boxed up a load of systems to put in the garage so I have a bit more space for tinkering now
So first up, a pristine Cyberstorm 060 @ 50mhz... all boxed with the original 20 year old receipt for £849 ouch!
I managed to track down 1 x 32mb SIMM and 3 x 16mb that were sat in a DKB128 doing nothing.. all match but one... due to my OCD I have ordered four matching 32's.

The spare board for my spare board for my A4000 came out of its bubble wrap and popped into the Micronik case nicely. Only two jumpers to change to EXT and she's ready to go.

CPU carrier board, CPU board and RAM installed with the jumpers configured

Micronik vertical Zorro 3 busboard installed... fits nice and tight once screwed in

Next up was a 40 minute configuration of the Compact Flash following Fitz Steves excellent video to install Classic WB 3.1 ADV and WHDLoad... Cheers Steve!
I managed to track down a DMS image of the Phase 5 060 install disk which copied over the 68040 and 68060 libs under WINuae and configured a couple of programs. Temp placement of the CF card until the power lead extension arrives so I can screw it in the back slot.

Then it was 30 minutes of titting about with 60 jumpers to get the LED screen to display 060... I went for the CPU designate rather than the speed

The tower case is new old stock, absolutely lovely... no yellowing, dents or scratches... really stands well
I designed a quick sticker online which has a nice shiny plastic cover which arrived two days later just to finish the case off.

A quick test of Sysinfo to ensure all is well... it is
