New Amiga 1200 owner

Glad to be here on AmiBay. I have an interest in 8-bit microcomputers, particularly the ZX Spectrum 48K/128K and the Amstrad CPC 6128. On the console side, I enjoy systems from the fourth (16-bit) and fifth (32-bit) generations, including the Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, PlayStation, and Sega Saturn.

I also work on electronics projects related to these machines, such as restoration and building custom cables and accessories.

Lately, I’ve been spending more time on the Amiga platform. I recently got an Amiga 1200 revision 2B PAL motherboard, and I’m looking into graphics cards like the Radeon 9250 and Radeon 7000 for a TF1260-based system with a Mediator PCI 1200 TX.

Looking forward to exchanging ideas and learning from the community.

Yes, indeed, I’m already trapped in these deep waters, and I think if I ever decide to get out, it will be really difficult! Just today, I saw a post about how to burn a custom Kickstart 3.9, and I’m already getting ready to try it. What a great contribution
