Have been bouncing in and out for some years spending time with the hobby of Atari computers. Purchased my first ST around 1987 from Federated in Escondido, Ca. Became interested in Atari computers while working as a Numerical Control Programmer in various machine job shops in Northern San Diego County. Relocated near China Lake NWC in 1984, during which time I've bought, sold and traded most every Atari computer made. Was a single parent, raised my son an Atari products since he was of 5. At 30, he's off on his own, still owns two Jaguars with CD units, numerous games and hardware such as ICD's CatBox. He has a Falcon and a STfm, which to this day remains packed away. Currently I have 4 Falcons, 1 MegaSTE, MST, 3ST's, parts and hardware galore just waiting for me to resurrect and integrate into a hobby room. As a matter of fact, managed a great deal on a TT earlier this morning (07/01/2013)!

Some of my near goals are to assemble the Falcons into usable cases, and install upgrades that have been sitting for some years.
I recently purchased a fourth Falcon with Cubase Audio and a Stineberg FDI. Have had a couple Falcons set up like this, but never had the time to actually "make music". Recently retired, hope to learn some of the simple aspects of audio manipulation, and integrate composition using video captures from Expose, and animated scenes from Chronos and Phoenix generated on the TT.

I'd like to venture off into hardware design, with several specific products in mind, primary simple adapters, but first need to learn how to properly layout PCB design. I've 20 years soldering experience, but with failing eyesight, better to spend the funds and let the project be done right. One of the machines I'd like first jump into is a 68060 adapter for the Milan 040, and possibly utilize the same adapter on the Afterburner board. There is more advanced hardware out there now, still, treat Atari's like my vintage motocross bikes, unique and fun to build.

Own most commercial programming packages, but aside from simple 68K utilities, do not program other than to cut and past another users code.

See some user names and monikers here I recall from back in my BBS, Genie, Compuserve and usenet days. As few as they are, and not even meeting in person, continue to be associates I've known the longest in any community :).

Finding links to Amibay via two other Atari related message boards, realize the safe and reliable environment here to buy, sell and trade vintage computer related components. There are sill a lot of wants on my list, as well as items I've had rat-holed away for some years that deserve a chance to be owned by (the right) other users.

Cheers, and thanks for the disk space!
