Hi all,
I've lurked many Amiga sites for many years and have recently began registering at them. I had an A500 kitted out back in the early 90s. I did a lot of music, art, animation and BBS'ing. Never made a name for myself so i doubt anyone here would know "slayer" from the Trade-N-Post BBS. Was a member of QCUG Amiga users group in Queens, NY for a while and made a lot of local Amiga friends. Used to do a lot of the 1MB Chip ram mods for folks with A500 computers and some simple soldering repair work on damaged boards. I'm now getting back in to it and have acquired an A500 some years ago that I kept in a box. Sold my original when Commodore went belly up for the last time. Currently awaiting a a Vampire board. Looking to get back in to some multimedia work like I did back in the day.
Who knows, i might consider buy, selling to trading some stuff. Definitely keeping an eye out for a spare A500 and/or accessories. for now, just getting started here, so here is post #1 of 2 I need to Private msg a certain someone
about a GURU-rom kit for my GVP Impact Series II A500 HD+.
Also very much in to the TI-99/4a as retro computing has brought me back to my first 2 computers that made me fall in love with multimedia and gaming. Looking forward to being here.
