For sale are my new Vampire 600 FPGA Accelerator and Altera USB Blaster Programmer. Both the Vampire and programmer are brand new i.e. have never been used. Although the card is upgradable it of course comes flashed with the original core as sold by Majsta.

I think it's worth noting that this is the Vampire V1, not the V2 which is currently on sale. I'm not trying to ruin your sale, it's still a great accelerator

Can the Vampire I have the new cores installed or has development for Vampire I basically ended in favor of Vampire II? If you can load the new cores, I'm interested.

In short.......abandoned
the source code for the core is availiable so if your that way inclined you could build your own

there are about 3 cores or so, the last was a faster core with access to all the memory, I forget the revision, but it was and still is pretty unstable

the USB blaster included with this sale is used to program the board via a jtag style connector. But again requires altera software to be setup.

That aside, the board is still pretty cool, and a solid accelerator, giving equal or better than 620 accelerator IMHO
