I have been given permission by Newtek to distribute the latest Video Toaster run time software for free and whilst I am sure it will only help people crazy enough to want to run the NTSC video toaster in a Pal region there may be more like me and some with NTSC equipment, note I cannot support you as this is a complex and expensive project except with the odd email support of my experience and videos. While I sort out the best place for it to reside if you need a copy of it please get in touch with me. Note, you need the toaster hardware and this is not a way to get Lightwave for free.

Please note I am not here everyday but will pop in at least once a week to check.

Steve,

If you have permission to distribute the software then the best place to store it is on Archive.org. They will be sure it is stored for the foreseeable future. To post it here, you need to prove that you have permission to distribute it. I'd love to get the latest version to go with my Toaster hardware.

I'd love to get hold of the software for my Toaster 4000! Thanks for the work you've done. :-)

Great news, but, unfortunately, quite impossible to find a PAL version of the Video Toaster hardware... :-(

The Video Toaster has never been Pal, this only for those in NTSC region or those like me that are prepared to set up an NTSC system with the costs involved.

Great news, but, unfortunately, quite impossible to find a PAL version of the Video Toaster hardware... :-(

As always this has got more complex, after agreeing to let me distribute I have contacted to say there are some copyright issues on the CD ISO which I hope to resolve, so this is more complex than I thought.

I hope to resolve this soon.

Humm... this is why I've never found one! I have always thought that a PAL version had been released. :-(
I had bought Lightwave (when it was officially usable without Video Toaster Hardware) in England, and after I obtained new versions directly from Newtek. It was a great 3D software.

Great Steve!

I'm a bit in the same crazies so i Salute you for the effort =)

clusteruk provided me with the email chain proving they have given him permission to provide the software to the community. Thanks!

Thanks for getting permission to officially share this. Bill's been putting the source code and the images up every now and then but I think this is the first time I've seen NewTek give their official blessing. I guess they really are leaving the Amiga market :)
