Good to know there is no point in waiting anymore, Good luck -Acid- :).

It's arrived and working okay through RF (last resort connection), but when I try to use the RGB cable from the N64 I am replacing I get a ghosted image out of it but the sound is fine. That cable used to work perfectly with my old console, has anyone got any idea why this is happening?

The N64 will not output RGB with out modification as far as know or are you talking about S-video ?

Also modified cables for RGB can have problems because some N64 boards differ from each other.

Do you have a picture of the cable you are using ?

It worked on my other N64 which was a standard PAL machine. I do have a special RGB cable for my RGB modded Jap machine and that doesn't work either.

I have checked you can not use a modified cable only, the board has to be modified to use RGB , also you should never use an NTSC modified cable on a PAL it will cause damage.

Also like I said post a picture of the cable.
