Recently acquired a DSi for my daughter so I'm looking for an R4 cart...

If you have a spare let me know how much you want for it and maybe if you have a micro SD card also?

I may have one but will have to have a dig around...

Cheers

i have an r4 1.4 ds/dsi card. but i generally only use them on ds/ds lite because the dsi can be updated to a point where it wont work any more.

I already have one for the other daughters DSi. I think they both are on 1.4.3E fw?! Anyways I have tried my existing 3DS card and it worked in the new DSi...

You sound more knowledgeable on it than me, any advice appreciated! :)

wouldnt say knowlagable. but i have had a few ds's and a few dsi's
and the r4i with 1.4 in a gold explosion type symbol was made at a point before the dsi was updated. the ds and dslite are no probs. but the dsi and newer had an update that stoped it. and the firmware needed to make the r4 1.4 work is larger than the space the r4i has to have an update..
so it works on non updated ones (i forget what update nuked em) and it works on ds/dsL. but i dont like to use them on a dsi. because you can go play online or something and end up with a r4 card that wont work for your dsi.

personally. id try to get a supercard ds two.. should be much better in the long run and has its own snes emulator which is something im sure every one wants.

on a side note if you want to cover the postage il send you a 1.4 r4i

I am quite happy to try the 1.4 R4i for the cost of postage and if it works we could come to an arrangement?

Ill do some reading and drop you a pm shortly :)

Not in the DSi at present, I'll need to get my hands on a spare DS.

Software installed to card but 'power down, turn off system problem'. I remember having this with my 3DS card too until I rearranged some files around so Ill keep messing with it!
