Nintendo Game Cube

Hi,

So......i went to the local carboot sale today and while i was walking around i saw a Nintendo Game Cube, so i asked the seller how much it was, to my surprise he said £<snip>, i took the item and cables and paid him the £<snip>.........30 mins later i arrived home and dried my Game Cube, 2 power packs and the nba game that came with it (yep no controllers) I plugged the powerpacks into the Cube and the power outlet, seems both powerpacks work ok as a red light came on the cube, i put the nba game cd into the cube and shut the top, i thought the device might have spun up but nothing seemed to happen........so basically im asking anyone if this have any ideas about this? i dont want to buy a controller if the cube doesnt work!!!!

I have had another play with it and it is now spinning up! Time to look for a controller and cables i guess....

Maybe it was damp and once up to room temp things were ok.
