There is just so much good stuff on ebay located in the UK! I fully understand what Heather says about US-EU with the hasle of invoices but inside EU you don't have to include anything.. You could say "international shipping only possible with tracking+insured". And again understandable with the large and heavy items, but small items as a joystick/games etc. should not be an issue.. Time and time again I'm not able to bid and the sellers item goes for peanuts.. I guess it's really the seller missing out on this as he could have gotten a lot more.. In the end, yes, Amibay is a fantastic place to buy stuff/sell stuff opose to ebay, just not as much stuff as on ebay.

Can you ship that oven overseas please? :D

I can if you arrange collection/packaging  Oh and it runs on 240v so it might explode when you plug it in... that's presuming
the glass front survived its journey over the seven seas :D

Fully electric ovens run on 240VAC@50amps here in the US, so it'll work somehow.

Its odd reading that people can't get folks to ship over EU borders. Denmark isn't that far from the UK and shipping should be reasonable... in theory.

In Theory. :)

It is actually cheaper to send something from the UK to random EU country on a 5 day airmail than a 20 day "budget" surface mail cruise.

On rare occasions, it is also cheaper to send items fully tracked and insured UK->UK next day insured for GBP500 than it is to send basic 2-3 day.

:picard

Theory is wonderful...

The main problem is eBay and it's unreasonable buyers. Because it's faceless people treat it like they are buying from eBay, not a person. Many UK sellers wont send abroad because international buyers do not appreciate the timescales for delivery and will ruin your DSR or worse leave you a negative if the item does not arrive within a week or less.

Some European Countries can take 2-3 weeks and in some cases even if you pack the item well it get's seriously battered.

Due to eBay being so biased towards the buyer I only ship to a handful of trusted countries on the rare occasion I even sell there.
