I had to do the same a Davideo however it was forced upon me as it's a requirement to have a business account which PayPal required once I reached a certain amount of money in/out...

I don't believe Paypal favors the buyer any more than I believe someone can be bullied into paying by Paypal in Gift. The Paypal rules are set up to insure a fair transaction it's as simple as that. Common sense says a seller should not ship with out tracking for payment as goods and the shipping address should be verfied by the buyer to match the Paypal address.

As far as the possibility of the buyer damaging the goods after receipt, it does not happen very often, but you can take pictures and document the condition before you ship. You can also condition the sale on satisfactory buyers feedback as well.

Again, with proper Paypal usage and a little common sense most payment as goods problems can be avoided.

It's added as a bank account, not a card. Weird.

Correct. You are basically giving PayPal authorisation to debit your bank account.

Another thing. For transfers to be "instant", you will also need to have a verified credit card listed as a back up source.
Verified meaning your cards billing address is the same as the address listed in you paypal profile.

No credit card here matey. I learnt that lesson the hard way a long time ago

Same. A debit MasterCard will fill the same function.
