They look nice and I heard some PS 4 owners want sell it for Nvidia Sheild but one problem....

You need at least 50 Megs broadband to get games of 1080p with 60FPS otherwise it isnt good enough to run!

I take it you mean the new Nvidia Shield Android TV set top box?

You would only need such a fast connection for 4K netfix streaming. Game streaming will work on a slower connection of around 22Mbps.

However there is one other issue for 4K video. Your TV needs to be HDCP 2.2-compliant and not many are yet.

Personally I would wait another year and see what is available then. 4K is only just taking off and not that many people still have it yet.

Nvidia Shield Android TV set top box? Yes:)

My Sky Broadband is 7 MB and I would like upgrade to 50 MB one day :)

Thanks for advice :)

Good news is that I can upgrade my Sky Fibre up to 38MB if I need it :)

You mean Mb not MB. Different things. ;)

Are you on fibre now or ADSL? Definitely worth upgrading to fibre as it makes a huge difference with Sky when using On demand.

Also consider that your current 7Mb means a download speed of about 0.87MB/s, whereas on fibre with 38Mb, if you got close to that speed you could download at 4.8MB/s. Quite a difference and well worth it.

Mine is ADSL and downloading Resident Evil game on Steam is so slow as it like waiting for Father Xmas Arrived! LOL

I am thinking of upgrading Sky Fibre Unlimited which is 38Mb.

There is Superfast broadband of whooping 76Mb !

no virgin media in your area ?? im on 152mb and get a free upgrade soon to 300mb (rumored but very possible)

We covered potential speed upgrades by Virgin Media earlier this year and it seems that the upgrades for customers are set to start in October 2015.
The upgrades will see those with the 50 Mbps product upgraded to 100 Mbps, 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps and 152 Mbps to 300 Mbps, though as with other upgrades Virgin Media is more vague about what will happen to upload speeds.

according to this,, 20mb upload on the 300mb tier.
The information missing from the recent announcement about Virgin Media moving customers to 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps tiers starting in October 2015 was what will the upstream speeds be and now we can reveal that the 300 Mbps product will feature a 20 Mbps upload, and the 200 Mbps service a 12 Mbps upload.

152Mb? whoa and I gonna check it out :)

Our services are not in your area yet...

...but that could change soon.

  • We’re extending our network to bring our next generation optical fibre and digital TV services to four million more homes. And that could include yours.
  • There are two great reasons to confirm your interest below: firstly the more people who sign up, the more likely we’ll come to your area – so the chance of that could increase if we know you’re keen. And secondly, you’ll get email updates on our plans for your area.
  • All you have to do is fill in a quick and easy form. There’s no obligation to buy and if you do join, you’ll get a special introductory discount – so it’s well worth it.

P.S. The maxium broadband I can have is 76MB like Sky broadband or Plutnet :)
