Closed Old Desktop PC

I am looking to buy Old Desktop PC because I want test my 9 Hard drive IDE that was back in year 2000 and onward....

Well the Last PC I had was E6750 Desktop pc and so for old PC I am looking for is that work with IDE Hard drive

Pentium or whatever is as long as it got IDE HD ...so i can test my 9 Hard drive......

I did rather buy off someone who in UK

why not get a simple USB->IDE adapter and do the testing? If you get older hardware you might have probs with BIOS hdd-size limitations (unless your drives are small)

+1 Great bit of kit, I had one running my DVD burner as my new board only has Sata, till I got a new burner.

is a normal-looking compaq pc and has a normal ATX-style motherboard and should have a 10gb hdd fitted. Like I say is that thread, it needs a graphics card and I don't know if it works.

is an earlier PC with a smaller hdd but it works for sure and it has a pentium 75 mhz. Limited expansion capability but consequently more compact.

same here, it's life saving when working with older drives. works in any modern os as well.

My Acer Gaming Laptop have Window 7 by the way...so it be useless to have them unless if i change to window 98

Shipping costs to you are about 20 EUR for a complete PC (10 kg) and I think 17 EUR if you only need the board, ram, cpu and perhaps a 40 gig hard disk (5 kg). If I am able to lower the weight under 2 kg (no harddisk), then the shipping costs are 11 EUR!

I have emachines P4-3GHz, small tower, dvd-rw, 512ram, no hd.
Only has 1 IDE port tho.
Also has no AGP slot, just onboard.

I have a desktop PC somewhere. This is a real desktop as you have it on your desktop & stick your monitor on top of it. Dunno about the Spec & I'll have to dig it out, but it's yours for the cost of shipping if you want it. Fully installed & fully functional & in VGC when last put away. PM me if you're interested.

I have a dell optiplex slimline in the loft not doing anything. I think it's a 270. About 5 or so years old but not sure if that's old enough for you?
