I joined Amibay in January 2025, but I don't think I ever introduced myself. That would explain why I'm still tagged as "New Member".
Well, I learned C and assembly on an Amiga 500 when I was a high-school student in Italy. In the early 90's, I founded a FidoNET BBS running DLG Pro on an Amiga 4000 with lots of SCSI drives. This machine is still working and is now on display in a small computer museum near Florence.
Nowadays I live in Tokyo, and I'm acquiring and restoring Commodore hardware around the world to restore it. I visited various retrocomputing shows in the USA, including AmiWest, VCF, Pacific Commodore Expo and CLASS.
I also support these museums: Bloop Museum in Pittsburgh, Interim Computer Museum in Seattle and CHM in Mountain View CA.
