Bump! I've also revised the original descriptions a bit out of boredom .

If you're that bored, can you do some measuring of the ATX PSU you have?

The reason I ask is that I need a "Short" one. The case I am using for the mobo I got from you is a bit teeny. Whilst a full sized ATX PSU will fit in there along with the motherboard, I can't cram my Awe64G in at the same time - They both want to occupy the same space. The side where the power cord goes in is fine (and standard), I just need to know the third dimension.

The case i had was quite small too! I had to remove the PSU to access the CPU and RAM :roll:.

The PSU measures 8.5cm x 15cm x 14cm (height x width x length)... I think 14cm is the third dimension you're looking for (not sure if ATX PSUs get any shorter than that?). It also has a couple of removable support brackets that some old cases use .

Doh! Its the same size as mine, so ain't gonna co-operate. Cheers for your time anyway.

The refund hasn't gone through yet as paypal have placed a hold on it for some reason . It says: "PayPal has placed a temporary hold while we're reviewing it. We'll contact you shortly with further information"... I bet i'll be waiting ages for them to sort it out.

No problem ... I've seen some older ATX PSUs that are 15cm and 16cm in length too. I wonder what the shortest is?

Postage to Greece is £4.95 using standard airmail or £10.25 tracked & signed for (Royal Mail is a bit pricey these days!).

I wish VOGONS had a classified section for old PC hardware too .
