Sold Old Pentium MMX Laptop...

I'm selling an old Compaq Presario 1622 laptop that i bought from another user on here some time ago. It comes with the original charger, Windows 95 booklet with COA (Win98 currently installed) and other documentation.

It's in excellent condition for it's age and is in full working order. The old passive TFT screen is a bit rubbish as it suffers from motion blur/ghosting and sometimes flickers. The screen can be replaced if needed (Sharp LM12S471 is the model to look for afaik). It works perfectly fine with an external monitor . The battery also no longer holds a charge, but this is to be expected with a 17 year old laptop.

im assuming you set this up as a dos gaming machine?
i dont often see them with floppy and cd rom drive. if i had the funds id probably buy this as a fun little dos laptop just for some basic dos gaming.

probably even end up just hooing it up to a monitor kb/mouse and using it like that.

unfortunatly i have over spent, and i really cant justify a dos gaming system to the wife or my self.oh:

It's a good little machine for some retro DOS and Windows gaming, and even better if you hook it up to an external monitor .
