The sun is shining and the postman has just delivered some of the finest hair products the Internet has to offer, so I want to partake in some Retrobrighting. However, I’ve run into a problem: how do I remove the case from my mouse?

The style of mouse that I have should (should!) be pictured below.

There are no visible screws or anything. Still, I’m sure the answer’s pretty simple, but I thought I’d better check before I start blindly hacking away...

I was expecting some NSFW pictures of a mouse dissection...

/disappointed

:p

The ambiguous wording of the thread title did occur to me, but I couldn’t think of another way of phrasing of the question!

I'm not sure if anyone else can see the pics, but i sure as hell can't..

Mine came up great with BBlonde. Yeah, screw are under the label (which someone thought was rubbish and threw out ) and theres a clip at the front so you need to slide the bottom and top apart. I think the PCB is just held down by 2 screws.

Yup, you need to remove the foot pad things.

Brilliant stuff. Thanks for the advice, chaps. I thought there might be something under either the label or the pads but didn’t want to start pulling it apart without being sure.

Guess it’s time to break out the screwdriver and BBlonde…
