I have 34 discs that were to be thrown away so I salvaged them to preserve the history.

They are Psygnosis development discs. Mainly images and design materials.

I don't really know what to do with them and don't know how to access some files but I would like this to go to a good home to keep this stuff preserved.

The discs are mainly for various Lemmings games and G police 2. Both PS1 and PC files.

There are also discs for F1, Chronicles of the sword, City of the lost children, and Attack of the saucermen.

Looking for £100 plus postage.

I'm quite sure you are not allowed to offer these for sale as they are not originals and you certainly do not own the copyright. I'll bite my lip for the other thing I would like to say but suffice to say "...were to be thrown away so I salvaged them..." should hint at what I mean.

I appreciate your concern but it isn't copyrighted because it isn't software. They are just bits of work that was getting binned so obviously they are not cared about anymore.
They are also the original discs. I have not copied them. There will be no more copies once these are gone. I am a collector but I don't know enough about this type of stuff to warrant keeping them. They would be better with someone who would knows what they are talking about.

And just to confirm, this is not pirated and I have not copied anything. You aren't going to find stuff like this on a torrent site!!!

"good home to keep this stuff preserved" = Whoever pays £100 plus postage?

We need a media museum of some kind .. then you could donate it so it could truly be "preserved"

There are several things wrong with this thread but the main one is the copyright of the material.

You do not own the copyright to any of the content that's on the discs and you have not been granted the rights to the material through a licensed sale.

The copyright of the content belongs to the artiste(s) and the company which he/she was working for at the time.

As such I don't believe we can sell these on AmiBay. So I'll close the thread down.

@Marjugs

If you disagree with my decision or can prove that you are allowed to sell these then please PM me or another Mod.
