Dear All,

i traded my A600 with some goodies for a A2000...first one in my house with confirmed functionallity :)
Mindboggling as it is, i was given a 030@14 turbocard, gvp scsi card and networkcart with it!!!
Now my rant kicks in.....I HAVE NO TIME TO PLAY WITH IT!!!!
All the world is conspiring to keep me away from my new, lovely toy :(
Daddy wants me to repair his pc, 4 Amiga friends need me to bring parts&info, bro wants me to help clear his yard, wifey, kids and other pets need attention every now and again, bossman claims 8 hrs a day.
Each and every of these things is a joy to do, but me is definitely going insane!
No is sometimes not a good answer...on the question "you are not too buzzy, are you?" maybe i should learn to say "you are next in a long and noble line".

Sorry to bother you all with this.

Grtz, PymerOne.

Nooooooooooo

Play time first - :censored: work :D

Dave G

hehehe heared that one before...to an extent that i have been stacking toys in the attick for years, haven't seen most of them since i moved to this town (10 years ago now).
Wifey said: if you aint playing with it for so long, maybe you should bin it.
Don't you just hate people making rational remarks about emotional isues?

As i always like to say: patience is a virtue!
I actually had to retire in order to enjoy all the goodies i collected through the years... Here's wishing y'all don't have to wait that long

I bought a replacement mobo for my desktop A1200. Guess who haven't time yet to even test the rig?:banghead:

F-word real live!:pissed:

Rogerio, maybe you should re-schedule/reduce/eliminate your sleeping hours? (hint)

LOL! Thanks but no thanks. I really love my sleeping hours. The only way I know to properly cure a hangover (plus a lot of water during the day).

No matter how much I love retr0 stuffs but in all seriousness, my family and friends (well close ones anyway) always come first. :)

I go for weeks at a time before getting to spend any quality time with my miggies. The A4000 had been in bits for the best part of a year before I started on it, and I've not touched it since. Real life has a way of catching up with you!

Still, I'm sure you'll find the time sooner or later. Work hard, play hard, or so they say. Chris's suggestion above sounds like a good'un. :-)

I have similar problem, I come home from work at 6pm, i eat, do stuff around the house, fix things, help friends, friends calling me, asking me question about computers, parents bugging, ahh and find no time for my amiga fellows, well one day i sorted all programs from games etc, which is neat. well i think i'm glad im not married.
