This isn't so much a whinge I suppose, but more of an appeal to maybe spread awareness
:soapbox:
When I receive boxes in the mail, I remove the tape and addresses for use another day
My problem is that this isn't always an easy task

I want to appeal to more people to pack in a way where I hope that my packaging may be reused:
Tape only needs to be used to seal and secure. Understood, heavier items may require more tape.
Unpacking tip: A knife is a handy tool to remove a lot of tape in one go :butcher
Removing tape is important as even if I don't plan to reuse the box, I will recycle it, and most recyclers insist that paper is free from non-pulp based material :nono:
I'd be interested to hear other people's ideas too
My aim will be to compile them together in a small blog-post covering packing tips for packing newbs

I want to appeal to more people to pack in a way where I hope that my packaging may be reused:
- Using just enough tape (this also avoids wasting your tape) :wooha:
- Writing the address on a separate piece of paper and taping into place
- Using clean materials :double (should go without saying really, but I've received some shocking things in the mail
)
- Using sturdy materials i.e. a sturdy cardboard box
Tape only needs to be used to seal and secure. Understood, heavier items may require more tape.
