WITHDRAWING SALE
Up for grabs is the "dentist of hens teeth", rarer than rare. Infact they don't even exist apparently. A PAL Commodore 4064 with an unmodified case and unrepaired 327268 REV A mainboard. You can Google all about them. They are the stuff of legends, "only exist in USA", "made of recycled mainboards". Blah blah blah.
Anyway, I have one. It's in a storage box under my desk, and I am now offering it to you. I'd love to be able to tell you the history of it, but sadly it's unknown. I made up my own history (why not). Some European company called CCI wanted C64s on their production line, but wanted a more business like machine. They contacted Commodore and had a batch made up and branded with "CCI THE intelligent connection". After end of life, this machine was packed away into storage for 25+ years. Sadly "CCI", "THE intelligent connection" and "gateway to the world" have revealed nothing for me.
....Back to the facts.
Serial number WG00294
Case is stamped 1982. Has no visible defects or modifications. There are no brandings or stamps or security drill holes.
Mainboard is 326238 REV A. All big chips seem to be original from 1984 (exception cermic 6569R3 from 1983)
The KERNEL 901246-01 is DIP unlike the NTSC versions which seem to be ceramic
Monitor is sharp and crisp, brightness is adjustable externally at the back
Original keyboard, notice the missing colour codes on the top row of keys ?
Overall, the machine could do with a dust down and the label removed/cleaned/reapplied
