Hi folks,

I have a PAL VIC-20 for sale. This is the earlier 9V only paper label version. The machine is fully working and in excellent cosmetic condition. It has very very mild yellowing which is uniform (no streaks or gradients) there are no scratches, no cable melt / burn marks and it's generally very fresh looking. All keys work and it runs multiple passes of the dead test utility in my penultimate+ cartridge and all games I've tried without issue. Judging by the date codes on the CPU and VIC chip it is an early 1982 machine. Internally it is just as clean as the outside - the motherboard looks immaculate, no sign of damage, no sign of leaking from the caps. I removed the cardboard shielding when I cleaned the case but I'm happy to include it in the sale (it's around here somewhere).

Original PSU included in the sale. This had obviously been stored in the polystyrene for some time as there was melted / dissolved / whatever the heck happens to it polystyrene all over the cables. I cleaned the cables up using nail polish remover (acetone) but accidentally spilt some on the main case of the PSU which has left a mild water stain style mark - see photo. The PSU works fine and the cosmetic damage is minimal but it's not as immaculate as the machine itself.

I also have the polys and sleeve that were with the machine when I bought it but the polys and box are in pretty bad condition and may be from a later CR VIC-20 as the cut-out for the PSU is far larger than the PSU itself.

I also have an original modulator box if you want it - works fine but the label is ripped.

Asking £50 excluding postage.

Payment via paypal F&F or add 3.4% for fees.

And finally some pictures from my camera instead of my phone - I think the colour reproduction is much more accurate and consistent (your monitor, etc may vary!)
