For Sale Palm Tungsten T3 + Accesories

I am selling a Palm Tungsten T3, completely tested and in working order. This has been in the family and mainly used in the car for mapping alongside with a Bluetooth GPS antenna, so it has not been often in pockets nor usually held by people, which explains the overall good condition on this unit.

Price: 175€ (was 185€ (was 200€))
Payment: PayPal F&F or SEPA bank transfer. PayPal Goods & Services adds +10€ to the price.
Shipping: EU only, tracked parcel, typically around 20€ (feel free to ask).
Local collection: Helsinki area.

The pack includes the following original accessories:

• Leatherette cover.
• Stylus.
• Docking cradle with USB connector.
• AC adaptor (European plug).

I am including the following third party accessories in the pack:

• SD card known to work with the Palm T3, 1 GB capacity.
• USB sync cable (nice to avoid carrying the bulky cradle).
• Screen protector film (installed, can be noticed in the picture where the screen is on).

Additional notes:

• The original battery would not hold a charge, and has been replaced recently (September 2023), using a compatible CS-PM550XL battery. These are 1100mAh, which last a bit longer than the original 850mAh batteries. This has been done by me carefully following the corresponding iFixit article.
• I have tested this Palm quite thoroughly to make sure all works: sound, screen, touch input, Bluetooth, IrDA beamer, SD slot, sync (both cradle and cable, using pilot-link on Linux), etc. during the last month.
• The installed software is a fresh install of the original system, its updates, and some third party applications which can be downloaded from PalmDB. I understand this is not a problem (as there is no programs in it that need to be purchased), but if forum mods think this is an issue I will hard reset the device before shipping. Regardless, I will make sure that there is no personal data in it.
• Unfortunately, I have not been able to track the location of the manuals and the CD with the Palm Desktop program (PalmDB has copies), and I believe the original box is long gone.
• If shipped, it will be sent in a cardboard box with plenty of padding and bubble wrap.
