Very clean and origional Paravision SX1 in original packaging which I gave a thorough test today.

Unfortunately I dont know a deal about them but what I do know is:

  • Has 8 meg installed and shows up in workbench as 8 Meg fast 2 meg chip
  • I connected a floppy drive and it boots from floppy disk fine
  • Connected an RGB monitor and signal was nice a clean
  • Plugged by A4000's CF card in and it booted fine to WB
  • Disable/enable switch works great

I connected an AT keyboard to the SX1 and power light dimmed and resets when powered up... its the only suitable keyboard I have so I dont know if its that which is at fault or the keyboard port. I plugged my A4k keyboard into the CD32 and that worked fine.

I created a CF especialy for the SX1 and after formating the partitions it would accasionaly freeze when copying files from floppy to CF. Again, I don't have a second blank CF to figure out whether its the SX1 or my CF / Adaptor.

It is sold with these two issues declared so no returns on that basis please if it turns out to be the SX1.

I have on of these and I had one in the past that I bought new when it came out... They both have or had problems. It really needs a heavier PSU with everything connected I think.

Package received and tested. All works as described! Thanks for nice transaction. Feedback left.
