I don't know of anyone else has tried to do this but a lot of the online guides and videos are around internal conversions (ie DF0). I had a go at doing it myself and made a 23pin (out of 25) and soldered the wires as per pin outs and used some online conversion posts (pin 2 and 34 etc) . I also tried shorting the open HD jumper on the drive but to no avail.
Just wondering if there are any useful resources showing how to make a PC drive into an EXTERNAL DF1: floppy.
