PCE RGB amp

PCE RGB amp

I would like to purchase 1 amp kit please! PM sent! EDIT: Ahhh crap! I read on the NEO-GEO forum that you have stopped selling these :( Why did I have to find this 2 months too late?!?! I had 4 other PCE's waiting for chips after I bought the first one.

I was interested in one of your amps but saw a couple of conflicting messages about whether you are still producing them - namely the post above vs. one around renewed availability for the cable project in another thread from mid Jan.

So if you are still providing the amps, I'd be interested for certain - If not, I'd be grateful of your advice in getting hold of the PCB as it looks nice and tidy

Thanks in advance

I am still producing them, however I won't have any more ready for a least another week.

I have parts in stock for amps, connectors and cables. So either just the amps themselves or the full kits.

This is interesting indeed.
Unfortunately I can't yet send private messages as requested, as I'm a brand-spanking new member; I only found my way here by googling for PC Engine RGB amplifiers. This seems like an interesting forum though, and I might actually have some Amiga parts which might be of interest to others :).

I have one question. The DIN to SCART cable, has the same RGB pinout as the Neo-Geo, which is the same din? I ask this because I already have a neogeo scart rgb cable, and I might use the same one, so I can just order the amp and the din socket... (in any case, I could just change the order of the soldering on the socket to match the neogeo scart cable...)

Please let me know If I can order just the amp and a socket, thanks!

No, they are completely different pinouts. Plus a Neo Geo scart cable is wired for mono audio rather than the stereo audio from the pc engine.

Ok thanks. Also, has this amp been tested with RGB capable N64? I might order 2!

Joined the forum just to buy one of these but completely forgot to check for my confirmation email! Don't think I can PM yet though.

Has anyone seen thgill online? I sent money for an amp via PP over a month ago but heard nothing since and he's not read my PM asking for an update on the situation.

I asked him for an update as well, and he responded on April 7th letting me know he is a bit behind schedule but anticipates sending out a kit soon...
