an Absolute classic, played them all including munch on Xbox and stranger wrath.

favourite was Abe's exodus on PS1, me and the Mrs never laughed so much when we died repeatedly :)

actually completed the 1st 3 games, kinda got bored with wrath, shame they don't make another Abe 2d platformer, I would buy it.

Yeah I'm disappointed at how fast 2D faded when 3D boomed, they're completely different genres, one doesn't have to go away. Abe's Oddysee proved it could work and still sell games.

Now 2D has found a home with nostalgic devs and smaller devices, perhaps the Oddworld series will come back.
 
It's meant to be the first game but remade entirely to HD isnt it mate? Check out their Youtube channel (Oddowrld inhabitants) for info on it. i can't wait! love Abe's Odyssey.

ROFL! I thought you were joking for a sec there, the dev's of that game have the best sense of humour ever.


From the looks of things it's a HD remake, possibly rolling both Oddysee and Exoddus into 1 game. Gutted I just bought the first 2 on Steam, lol.

Depending on how well it sells we may get some new 2D HD games from old franchises following suit. :D

OOoohh, its out on Linux and Mac too. :D

"Later that day, it was confirmed that the game will not be a remaster of the original Playstation title, but a remake built from scratch with 2D gameplay and 3D graphics, using the original as a blueprint".

In an era when they're trying to get SSD's out there, they really need to get them higher capacity ASAP!

At the rate games are trying to use space, you could maybe get 4 games on an SSD that wont break the bank by the time you have the OS and essentials installed :lol:

I can't wait for SSDs over 1GB to be below the £100 mark :lol: Sadly I'll probably be closer to 40 than 30 before that happens unless something comes along and booms them.
