Thank you for you offer, but - no... I just received a new A1200 case from the kickstarter campaign.

Same here. The Squirrel interface and SCSI devices in that tower work with old and new cases

I would prefer a completely external solution.

That is an external solution - it's about half the size of a normal mini tower, for just a few drives

ah... okay - got it! But I don't like the "big" tower - would prefer a single drive with case.
