I have a few pre-assembled Pi1541 hats with a very nice design by Tor-Eirik Bakke Lunde for sale. Instead of a case, it makes use of three PCBs (the main circuit board, a faceplate and a backplate) that emulate a pile of 5.25 diskettes, but smaller. Dimensions are 10x10x3cm.
Tested and works fine with Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Raspberry Pi 3A.
They are of the 'B' variant, so they can be chained to other devices in the bus. They are completely assembled and tested. You only need a screwdriver to put a raspberry pi in it, install an sd card with the appropriate image from https://cbm-pi1541.firebaseapp.com, edit the options.txt file as per Tor-Erik's instructions and you are good to go. You'll need a 5V, 2.5A or higher adapter with a 5.5*2.1, internal positive, barrel.
