Picasso II strange problem

I have picasso II which working well only with 800x600 16 bit rest modes for example 800x600 8 bit are available but with screen issues white color like negative black is white
what can I do ? i tested old picasso96 from aminet and latest picasso96 2.1c , workbench 3.1 and 3.9 old system and new fresh system the same problem
conclusion doesnt matter be cause I use only 800 600 16 bit color which work excellent but WHY other modes not working ?

Have you got the Picasso II set to segmented memory? If so, change this and if need be, reduce your Zorro 2 address ram to 6mb or less.

The Picasso II has a segmented memory mode which allows you to use it on a zorro 2 system that already has the full 8mb zorro 2 address space used.... however it is slow, and in my experience, buggy.

Check this and come back and I will see if I can help further.

I use in Amiga 3000 there is zorro3 no limit memory like Amiga 2000

An A3000 has the same limitation for zorroII cards as an A2000! But if you use Picasso96, you do not use the segmented mode.

sometimes all modes work , sometimes not , before Picasso II i had CV 64 3d which worked well ,
I have zorram 128 and x-surf3 buster is 7 maybe there is problem ? with old buster ?

Buster 7 could be a Problem with The ZORRAM

no , today tested all modes thats funny all modes works but only with 16 bit 8 bit dont work

Any TK in The A3000? I had a similar problem with another graphics card in the A2000! Too much "noise" on the Zorro bus...

But try to change the slots! It was a "funny" game for me to get a CV64, a Fastlane Z3 and an Algor work in an A3k...

blind german problem solved , for first I removed all socket chips then cleaned with ISOPROPYL
ram , gal logic all chip , then I used other slot zorro and now Picasso working well ) he he he all modes working very good
