The SuperPLA V3 will not work with Fastload and is incompatible with older boards 326298.

PLAnkton is cheaper and works with everything. It also consumes one third the power of the SuperPLA V3.

HuH!
I`ve got the super pla now and it seems to work ok, but i have to admit it did seem to have issue`s with terra cresta, and just to make sure i was right that the super pla was having problems with this game i plugged in my spare c64 with a good working pla chip and terra cresta worked everytime so if i was honest i dunno whats happened there.

Just a little update that the super pla does work with fastload on the action replay i think mines the mark 6, and also trilogics expert cartridge with & without esm system, i have them both, plus other fast loads i tried it with, Unless you mean some different fastloading system that i`ve not tried it with.

So your saying i can get hold of a much better compatible version of pla for my C64

eslapion

I`ve just been thinking about what you said, and i would like to buy one of these pla`s to test against the super pla chip and see what`s the difference unless someone else has already done this.

I for one would be very interested in the results.

If you're still looking for a PLA, I still sell PLAnkton for 14$US which essentially works with all C64 boards made prior to the 64c's 250469 and I am selling a genuine, tested and working 82S100 sold as 906114-01 by Commodore for 20$US.

The SuperPLA has been confirmed to be incompatible with boards 326298 (by Ray Carlsen) and boards KU-14194 (by Thomas 'Skoe' Giesel).

Both of the chip I sell essentially works with all C64 breadbin boards and all C64 carts ever made.

Hi if you still look, i have a pla 906114-01 for c64, let me know if interested

SuperPLA won't work on a 250407 REV A/B/C as the SID gets in the way. You need to make a socket tower to clear. What a bad design.
