Is Amibay ever going to have a stall at one of these events again like they did at Retro Revival 2013?

Guys - I'm running an event in Nottingham on 30th July and I have offered Amibay a stand free of charge if they wish to come along. I would love to see this community get together!

Ah cool Deanp, wheres that being held?

It's at the Mercure Hotel in the city centre, right opposite the National Video Arcade. We will have a whole range of retro computers to play on throughout the day with high score prizes, a 'geek' quiz and two podcast shows which will be live streamed on the internet.

No corporates are involved, just a gaming community that want to get people together and enjoy the day. I really hope Amibay are up for it.

Awesome!

I'll be there, do you have a site up for it?

Very soon - I will post a link when it is up.

Cool, I think RR would be the most suitable of the big shows for Amibay at least more so than this Play Expo.

I'm still pondering making the 3 hour drive to Manchester on Sunday for a half day out see if I can grab some last minute bargains (doubt that though lol).

I was there yesterday, all in all a really good show for the masses!

It was great to meet up with the RCM boys again as well as a few others that I know from the show - sadly I didn't get to stay all that long on the Saturday.

I would like to see an AmiBay presence next year even if its a toned down affair - it gets the name out there and provides a point of contact for fellow members.

I agree Amibay does need a presence there (so does Amiga in general)
