It had a huge section for old consoles and computers last year and the year before, only down side was that it was next to the idiots screaming on stage from the cos play section in 2012. I hope they have more floor space for this year as it's going to get very cramped if not judging by all the extra stuff happening that's been announced so far.

I remember the cos play being very loud too. so long as the retro side can keep folks entertained i can't see it being an problem.
There's a Novotel that's not massively far away, if that's of any help.
I'll get as many snaps as I can, but it might be a bit biased towards merchandise stalls, haha.

I've asked for 12 tables, giving us enough space for up to 24 systems to be displayed, or maybe a few less displays and a stall at the end of our pitch. The stall we had was a huge success last time and we are going to do it again this year - I have loads of stuff to put on there to raise funds for the site.
If you have anything that you wish to donate to the stall, please PM me with what you have and bring it with you on the day. If you are in the Manchester area, I may be able to collect items.

If you don't mind driving, you might be able to get a good deal staying in Salford itself.
I did that in 2012.
Do you need any systems bringing for display (and play)? If I've got it, I'll bring it.
