Poorly Tatung Einstein

Hi everyone,

I have a poorly Tatung Einstein that I really want to resurrect.

The machine powers on but shows a corrupted MOS screen. I am thinking that it is a faulty MOS chip and it needs replacing?

Anyone else seen this before and know how to fix?

The machine needs a damn good clean and a retrobrite session, but i am not willing to expel the time unless I can get it to boot and read a disc!

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Well I fixed this with help from a Facebook post I came across. Replacing the 2 x 4416-15nl video dRam chips fixed the corrupted display.
