Oh neat.

You could, of course, just use a PC with a null-modem cable and terminal emulator, but of course a real terminal is much cooler :) If you don't mind newer styling, I have a couple spare amber CRT terminals and I could part with one for the cost of shipping.

Thanks for the offer, but I opened the unit and discovered, I am a LONG way from powering it it up, Sadly, it was siting in a shed or outside and needs a complete tear down and retro- might be out of my league- but a good project for 2 or 3 people to tackle. The power supply alone needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. Its an S100 bus system EDIT: it's a far more Rarer SS-50 bus system, so at this point, I am not sure what exactly is there for cards and what is missing (alot of cards were just loose inside). I need to at least track down some service manuals or schematics.
I think the CoCo was a way better choice than this unit for running OS9 (other than the dual floppy and an MFM drive). Man, the CoCo 3 must have been a super computer, when compared to this. I am not sure if I just am going to vacuum it out and stick it in the storage area for a few years before I can give it what it needs, or give it away to a GIMIX owner for spare parts. Looks like I will have to contact the CoCo forums. If someone here wants it, be prepared for a huge postal cost, this weighs MORE than my powermac G5.

There are photos of the inside on my facebook page.

Also a very cool t-shirt and a poster.

Got a VERY NICE PACK of retrolicious goodness from a friend (pictures to follow):

Mac LC 020 maxed out (10Mb RAM, 512kb VRAM, network card) plus original tank-weight monitor. :woot::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Old flask-style clock to put in the bar.

ISA diagnostic card

Some 30-pin SIMM (hoping for a couple of 4Mb units for my GVP SCSI+8)

a track ball RS232

and assorted old pc-world CPU

This just in

Seen bad things about the emulation on youtube though :(

1- Pentium II 333 (dunno what to do with it)

2- Apple MO401 VGA monitor (this thing weights a ton!)

3- C64 stickers made by Zekstra (I really need a way to give feedback to him!)

4- ISA diagnostic board

5- NOS serial trackball. Now I need the Amiga board to put in it!

6- Assorted Pentium CPUs. One P3 Celerelon and a "classic" Pentium 233MMX.

7- Slot to PGA CPU adaptor for Pentium III.

8- Mac LC 020, 4Mb, 256kb VRAM (I think I have a 512kb module around here), ETHERNET on the PDS, 80Mb SCSI HD (a 4.15Gb in route!).

All the above minus item #3 were given to me (for free!) by a good american/brazilian friend.:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Thanks, Heather. I like the stickers a lot.

One of the square ones is now on my Amithlon machine, one of the original C64 is now in my deceased VIC20 where a DTV and a SD2IEC (plus C64 to pc keyboard) are now seeing action.

As soon as all parts are joined I'll make a photobooth thread. :)

I won an eBay auction today for an A1200 Power Tower, but that's not what I was interested in

T'was the awesome selection of software that came with it

got a engine for an rxs100 couple of days ago.
only wanted the barrel. but the engine with postage was less than just a barrel from feebay.

happy to report the barrel was in great condition. and the piston was also perfectly fine.
Now i have Lots of spares. And my free bike even with parts and stuff is going to cost me less to make road worthy than buying a working one.

I got SVI-767 tape drive for MSX and five games on tape. The drive is currently missing the battery lid and it has the PSU soldered directly to battery contacts. I have to see if I can take the original PSU connector back into use. I have also the data cable coming to me from the Netherlands.
