Awesome. I've heard of those adapters before - pretty neat thing, running them through the expansion port. I love the fact that the game shown in the photos is Wonder Boy III, too. :D

Would love to hear how you get on with the Master Everdrive, as well.

Hello Chums

Thought I would take a break from repairing everyone else's' systems today and try and finish a project of my own which I have had on the back burner for the last month.

Tandy TRS 80 MODEL 4 - 128K RAM with FreHD Hard Disk Emulator.

This machine has really been a labour of love.
I imported it from Canada as a non working spares machine 120V only, and thanks to a helpful chap in Australia I was able to convert the system to full 240V spec, modify the mismatched Video board as well as upgrading the RAM and installing the Hard disk Emulator.

The system was riddled with faults but one by one they were all solved and she is now 100% healthy and looking pretty good for her age.

At some point in the future I will be doing a full nekkid photo shoot when time permits..

I would like to express Huuuuuge gratitude to Merlin for his help with obtaining the system and Iainjh for the extended loan of his Model 4 (after I repaired it lol) which helped me troubleshoot my machine a lot faster and easier.

Thank you guys

TC :)

There really needs to be a pron picture shoot of the twins, nekkid.

Its just that 'my' twin is better looking naturally.. where yours will have some other enhancements. err, hang on, where is this going? :)

Nice one bas! Awesome job getting mine then yours working, yours looks like its got white keys and looks very very good!

Wow! That looks great Bas! I'm so happy you were able to get it working. I know how much you wanted one of your own. :) Can't wait to see the rest.

Got this today;

The retail production-run seems to be so small that most places have only gotten one or two copies at most. I cancelled a pre-order at Amazon UK and had to find this elsewhere, because they ran out on release day (if they even got any copies at all), and apparently won't be getting it back in stock. It does explain why the official press release only mentioned the digital version, though!

Went to a Cash converters on the other side of Manchester as I was bored last night and found something suitably interesting.

Also picked up Retro Gamer and found a PS2 Network access disk in the same cash convertors so picked that up as even though I dont have the Network disk, they seem to always be missing from the network adapters if you buy one.

It was local, so I just had to have it despise no real need. But now my machines share four crt's ;) I wish it was a 8833-2 though, like I had back in the day

New stuff has arrived

Immaculately packed.

Very impressed with the shipping. It was shipped from Japan on Thursday and arrived today.

By comparison, i am still waiting for a package that was shipped last Tuesday from within the UK

Also, I don't think I've ever seen a controller like that last one before.
