Since it's always cheaper to buy gloves in summer...

Oh wow! @soeter04 that is awesome. Looks to be in mint condition.
I was quite surprised when it arrived! The seller claimed it was in "very good state", which usually means yellowed, broken and in a tatty box.
Then this gem arrived. :)

Cosmetically it's in damn good shape, and by the looks of it, it's complete too.
Haven't had the time to hook it up and test it though, fingers crossed :)

This arrived today and boy am I pleased with the result after migrating the guts of my breadbin across!

I just need a rectangular green led to finish it off.

maybe it's just me, but it looks too white....

it just looks so....VIC20ish :p

Maybe because it has a breadbin keyboard installed?

Bryce.

probably, I guess if it were a 64C in it, the whiteness of the case wouldn't 'stand out' so much

I was tempted to get one of the blue ones.

I have a 64C thats pretty yellowed, i think that i might just get a can of gloss black spray and lacquer/clearcoat

I was looking at some of the discussion on the other casing molds, sounds like the C128 molds may be too 'well used' to be of any use any more, which would be a shame, I was definitely thinking about getting one or 2 of those.

That's unusual, the molds looked like proper hard molds which should be good for millions of cases, which I doubt the tool ever got to make. If you are spraying a case make sure it's sanded and extremely well cleaned before hand, use an undercoat to ensure it doesn't peel and a clear varnish on top to avoid it from easily being scratched. Takes much longer, but the result will last much longer too. I usually give them two or three coats of colour too.

I got a Final Cartridge III+ PCB from a Lemon64 user the other day. I acquired the rest of the components locally and put it together. It's working nicely. The Plus custom binary includes a set of tools that aren't available in the original FC3. Just need a cartridge case which should be on its way.

Looks good Protek! I also received one of the black PCBs. It's a nice design with some changes from the PCBs I offered. I like the addition of the C= logo in the empty space. :)

Are there schematic changes? Or do you just mean visually?

Bryce.

got myself 10 mins so trying my father's day present.

Boxed Neos Mouse and Cheese...

damn it's weird only using the right mouse button :D

Got my Sony CDP-X505ES today.

Sounds lovely, built like a tank - can't quite believe the build quality, why don't Sony make stuff like this anymore :(

As this weighs in excess of 12Kg a full Sony ES stack would probably topple around 50Kg!

a bit like the marantz stacks, nice systems..shame they dont make them quite like that anymore.

The local electronics recycling center is just great! They had half a dozen Gravis Analog and Analog Pro joysticks for ridiculously cheap. Actually so cheap that rather than trying to find my spare Gravis stashed away somewhere for my project, I went and got this one instead. :)

I imagine Finnish recycling centers are full of treasures all the time. I wish Mac SE/30s and gravis joysticks would pop out of the Danish ones in a steady stream...
