@bootay

my envy sir...... you have it.....

envy-12973.jpg

hopefully it will fit my A3000UX :blink:
Im not even sure if the A2091 is compatible with A3000UX?

The A3000 has fast DMA SCSI II controller - why would you need the A2091?

@thread

Saturday just gone, I had few minutes and about £10 pocket money so I poped into cash converters to see if I could find a couple of PS3 titles for a fiver - *yes they have PS3 titles for that price!!!

so I found FUEL and Jerico and was about to go purchase them when a middleaged couple walked in asking the assisnant about the machines they had brought in earlier for test.

as I purused the PS3 titles a little more - I over heard the assistent say they couldn't take the PS2 Phat anymore - so the guy said could you tip it for us.. the guy said let me check...

I was shocked... but its not my business so I decided to have the games in my hand and go to the second counter...

as I waited the assistant came back to the couple and said that they couldn't as it needs to be recycled - they said they would be able recycle the games (i was thinking most likely in the shop window!)... but nothing else...

I was, as you are now.... completely dumb founded....

The assistent then went on to say that they could take the rest to gamestation for recycling as they could do it for them... (again I was thinking they would recycle it in the shop window!)...

Anyway.... I couldn't help it ... I approached the couple and said, Instead of walking to the otherside of town, my daughter would love a PS2 to share with her friends...

and before I could atleast offer them a tenner they said... there you go (thrusting a huge carry bag at me)... I asked them if they were sure.... the both said yes, its fully working with everything with it.

I was, as you are all now.... stunned.

I thanked them for their generosity and they left the store... I then waited for my turn in the que at the check out for my PS3 Games...

@zetro great stuff mate
when i go in to cash generators or converters im stunned at the prices they give for stuff and sell for 3 times the amount. i do get some cheap stuff now and again.

Nice work Zetty!

I just picked this lot up for Cosmicfrog, one of those ebay collection only's and just 15 mins from my house!

Masses of C64 stuff, no idea how we're going to get it to Staff's though, yes all the boxes are full and weigh a lot!

@fitzsteve: That's easy! You could start by "testing out" the equipment, and share the experience over the net with Cosmicfrog! I'm sure he'd be equally excited, as if it all were at his place! (that's what friends are for) :lol::lol:
Anyway, funny comments aside, i believe the best way would be to send out in doses. That's of course if final destination is real far, and shipping is big.. That way you'll start freeing up space, and the recepient will start enjoying some of the stuff.

its all my secret plan to convert steve from the ways of the spectrum to the ways of the CBM C64 hehehehe

well done mate, nice to see a ram expansion on top of the pile :)

all being well I`ll send some cash towards P&P in the morning

edit, you might be keeping the monitor though ;)

yay a monitor for my A600 lol...

Not sure what were going to do about postage there are at least 3 parcel2go's here...

Think the big boxes might be oversize tho.

Steve

Nice see karma is still fully functional ;) :cool:

Including two monitors and a couple of keyboards. I'm gonna keep some but some have to go.

Cool, a IIci! I used to have one of those next to my A3000. Both have a 25MHz 68030, I did quite some speed comparisons and the Amiga won most of the times :D

Great haul highlandcattle but cripes that picture really gave a good go at my poor PC's internet. :explode

Today I finally received a nice condition (unmolested, unopened) Amiga 600 in preparation for the ACA630's release! :D

It is going to be my demoparty and WHDload machine. It will be well looked after and adored for years to come - I promise. :)

I just got 2 given to me last weekend :) One has a bridgeboard, and one has a scsi. I am just going to upgrade mine slowly, the best thing about the A2000 is that Boards are a lot cheaper than the other Amiga's, I am going to get Amix running on one as soon as I get another '030 card. The A2000 makes an excellent "project" Amiga

I have a couple of A2k. Great machines on more than one sense!

One pretty barebones, other with 3.1 ROM, 030 Impact A3001 GVP accelerator, GVP SCSI+8 (with 4Mb turned on), 1 9Gb + 18Gb(!) HD, 2x floppies & SCSI CD. Running OS3.9 smoothly.

A great beast where you can throw a lot of hardware inside and run all pre-AGA software. Heaps better than an A500!
