I got the Saturn here from Amibay before Christmas and the CV64/3D SD off here as well

The CD32 bundle was from Evil bay and it was a BIN I snapped up shortly after it was listed :ninja:

I've re-cased about a Dozen of the CD32 games so now they all look like new and its working a treat:

Picture through S-Video is crystal clean, Composhite is erm, shite :D

But so far, so good and even the CD's I wrote like Swiv/Silkworm pack, Alien Breed, etc they all work too

Steve.

And the reboxes:

Going to make new inlays for those that are missing, hopefully one of the HOL guys can send me the scans without watermarks...

Steve.

Ahhhhh, the CD32 :)

*sheds a tear*

I used to use one of these via SerNet and NetworkCD2 as a CD-ROM drive for my A1200! It was the slowest arrangement on the planet, but it let me get stuff off my CU Amiga and AF CDs :) I'll have been about 10 or 11 at the time.

Then the laser blew, and the CD32 was no more :(

Would be nice to have another one one day :)

There's something about the CD32 I just love, maybe it's the amazingly over the top intro everytime you switched it on. :p

Great explample you got there Steve, enjoy it my friend.

Thanks guys, well pleased with it. Won't be putting any real hours though till I've checked the Caps out...

Having fun with the Saturn at the moment, burned up some games for it and having blast.

(Of couse, I own the originals - they are stored away in a flame proof box for safe keeping) ;)

Giz a shout if you need any capacitors replacing mate :)

I'll be recounting my stock of caps after doing Taj's board and may have enough for your CD32 if necessary. If not, it'll be a small order

Aw shucks, thanks mate

I just got this on EvilBay:

  • UFO Enemy Unknown (A1200/A4000 AGA 2meg min.), Boxed
  • Ogre, Boxed
$5.00Cdn Each

Funny thing is, I don't even have a AGA equiped Amiga yet, and I have the game (steam version) on my PC. But I couldn't let it go at that price.

Whats this if no AGA?
Amiga 1200 mobo (1st week of February [Gemini project]) (see signature)

Cool, so get you an AGA amiga :) 1200 would be fine, 4000 better .

We're not in february yet, and something can happen that will make the purchase of the mobo impossible. Also, this project, like my FrankenA2k project means that I'll be building a custom plexiglas case for it, so it may take a while.

OK, I see, I thought you got this last year LOL

Very good idea, also the same original case but transparent, would be really cool, but impossible to make :(

So I hope you get AGA SOON. A bit late, well it's 18 years old, but, hey, better now as never :D

8 pin DIN connector so that I can make a cable for my GBA1000 flicker fixer output :)

By the time I've finished this thing'll be a 3000 in the 1000 case, but faster processor and memory :)

i got my new z4case from amigakit all put together needs some tweeks tho

CD32 - great goes without saying.

However the Sega Saturn is a lovely console - lots of good arcade conversions on there, plenty of good 2D games too.

Enjoy that lot :)

Thanks mate, was a fun day yesterday. Discovered some new games on the CD32 I had not played before so its all good and as you say the Saturn is a great machine, shame at the time it was overshadowed by the PS1 but now when you go back to those Arcade classics like Outrun, Sega Rally, Daytona you remember what a cracking little machine it is...
