I think it's actually expanded to the max, but the power supply seemed to have died and I haven't got time to fix it (yet)

Nice, I've been hoping to find a 1000 hx (for the 3.5 "drive) but every time they come up I have no money. :(

Try to get Tandy computers in NL. It's either impossible to find or else way overpriced which I really don't get, nobody is buying Tandys except for me and I'm not planning to pay xx euro for a standard Color Computer 1 (in the later case) without box, documentation or something. For some reason there are 3 Model 1s for sale in NL, all around xx euro mark. Also a Model II for, don't laugh, xx euro...

I paid xx euro for the boxed MC10 + documentation + memory expansion which included fees and postage, then again I paid only xx euro for a boxed Color Computer 2.

I'd love to have a Color Computer 1, but not for weird high prices. Same goes for everything.

It's not much better here in Australia, 1000's go for well over $xx when they do come up, which isn't often.

Currently preparing to be a first time dad so had a difficult choice to make between selling my Amiga 1200 with indivision aga, Blizzard Phase 5 68030 and gotek drive along with 2 acorn atoms and peripherals and purchasing a pram, the pram won !

I was was able to keep my cd32 so as a consolation prize I purchased another indivision aga for the cd32 and have treated myself to a couple of boxed games, I doubt I'll have any money from January onwards due to nappies and baby clothes but hopefully I'll find an hour in the week for some gaming

Gumtree for a pram would leave me with the option of sleeping outside in the cold tonight hugging my retro collection, I prefer warmth and not dodging cutlery and plates

A few things came in the mail today.

Just a bit more Thrift/Dollar store randomness, no random NESs' though...

Books/Mags/Comics

Star Wars Identities exhibition catalogue (X3, 2012)
The Story of Babar (HC) (Random House, 1967)
Cracked #328 (Sept, 1998 )
Star Wars X-Wing: Rogue Squadron "Battleground: Tatooine" 3 of 4 (Dark Horse, 1996)
How to Play Rock 'n Roll Rhythm Guitar (Alfred Music, 1966)
Left Hand Guitar Chord Chart (Columbia, 1982) (hopefully these will help me learn to play the guitar I picked up previously)

RPG/Electronics/Games

Sensor Chess Computer (White & Allcock, 1981)
Two Player Championship Golf (Radio Shack, c'89-'91)

Dungeon Master II - The Legend of Skullkeep (PC, MSDOS) (Interplay, 1994)
AD&D Plane Scape Torment (PC, W95/98 ) (Black Isle, 1999)

Palladium Fantasy RPG - Wolfen Empire Adventure Sourcebook (Palladium, 2014)
Find Your Fate...Junior - The Transformers: Dinobots Strike Back (Ballantine, 1985)

Other Stuff (Toys, CDs, Cards)

Star Wars Figures
Luke Skywalker/Han Solo - Hoth gear (Hasbro, 2014)
Princess Leia/Luke Skywalker Stormtrooper Disguise (Hasbro, 2014)
TIE Pilot/Stormtrooper (Hasbro, 2014)

CDs
Bootsauce - Bull (Polygram, 1992)
Spin Doctors - Here Comes the Bride (DAS, 1999)
Indigo Girls - Indigo Girls (CBS, 1989)
The Proclaimers - Persevere (Chrysalis, 2001)

Other
100 pack CD/DVD envelopes
stack of Score 90/91 hockey cards

normally I do not take these (post-89/90) hockey cards as this is when they became massively overproduced, and as such - worth very little, but the very first card showing in the plastic baggie with these cards was an Eric Lindros 'Future Superstar' (rookie) card (just inducted into the hockey HoF) and is one of the very few cards that will be worth anything from the early 90s sets...interestingly Martin Brodeur (r) was the second card I found upon opening it up...so....not a bad 'score' as it were - if memory serves Sergei Fedorov, Pavel Bure and Jaromir Jagr are the other cards of the 90-91 sets worth having. (in fact, these were so overproduced that even until recently I have found unopened card packs (and boxed sets) in places like the dollar stores and even Toys'RUs, 25 years after the fact, ProSet also)

@SaviorX Where do you put all this stuff!?!? :)

Heather

for the stuff that I just collect, but really don't use or look at on a daily basis, I am fortunate enough to have a fair sized in-suite store room, nearly the size of a small bedroom (somewhere in the 50-55 sq ft area)

as for the rest, this small apartment gets a little on the cluttered side at times, I do have 8 bookcases/shelf units for most of my stuff though... (and of course my closets are pretty well packed full)

I'll include these so you can see my dilemma

I ordered mine online from Walmart, it seemed ridiculously cheap for what it was, and shipping was even free...

I have to say that I wasn't at all disappointed, the quality was reasonable for the price...

in fact, Walmart.ca appears to still have them...

http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/multimedia-storage-tower/6000002585794

(they appear to have been on sale real cheap on the US site, and sold out: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sauder-O-Sullivan-Multimedia-Storage-Tower-Cinnamon-Cherry/13044874)

if I had the space I would definitely get another one, as it stands, I would have to replace the one I have with something that's just taller :P

Christmas come early, Part Deux

small 'upgrade' to my camera, nothing too fancy, just a Canon ELPH 190 IS 20MP (a little bit better than my older Canon A3400 IS 16MP, especially in low light, it looks like...also liked the 10x optical zoom, vs 5x on the one I have now)

Camera_sml.jpgold cam vs...Camera2_sml.jpg

seems quite a bit sharper to me anyways.

Also seems to snap the photo in 1/4 the time the old one did, and is WiFi as well.

I've actually been fairly happy with these 'lower end' Canon digital cameras.

best part was the price, technically 'free' (I had $170 worth of 'Shoppers' points :p)
